Medium: Biogas desulfurization and purification

The main body of the glass fiber reinforced plastic biogas desulfurization tower includes a washing tower, a hydrogen sulfide sampling and monitoring system, a lye configuration tank, a water supply and softening device, a liquid level control system, supports and connectors. The desulfurization system realizes fully automatic operation by monitoring the hydrogen sulfide concentration of the outgoing gas and the pH value. During operation, the biogas passes through the desulfurization tower from bottom to top, and the Na2CO3 solution (or NaOH solution) is sprayed from the top down to make the H2S gas and the lye have a sufficient chemical reaction in the packing area to achieve the effect of purifying the biogas.

As a kind of energy source, biogas needs to be purified before use so that the quality of biogas meets the standard requirements.According to NY/T1220.2-2006, low calorific value is> 18MJ / m3, H2S mass concentration in biogas is <20 mg/m3 and biogas temperature is <35. Biogas purification mainly includes desulfurization, dehydration, and filtration.

Desulphurization: When biogas is used as an energy source, the quality and concentration of H2S shall meet the relevant requirements. Otherwise, it will have a corrosion effect on pipelines and equipment (boiler, biogas engine, etc.).The desulfurization methods include dry desulfurization, wet desulfurization, water spray desulfurization, etc.

Dehydration: H2S reaction in methane produces hydrogen sulfuric acid, corrosion pipeline, and equipment; water condensed on the diaphragm and diaphragm of inspection valves, safety valves, flow meters, regulators, and other equipment, affect its accuracy; water can increase the airflow resistance of the pipeline; water can reduce the thermal value of biogas. Dehydration methods include a freezing method, adsorption method, chemical reaction method, etc.

Filter: biogas contains impurities, especially in the early operation of the digestion tank or when the digestion state is unstable. Therefore, before entering the internal combustion engine, filtering measures should be generally taken. Filter nets can be set on biogas pipes, and some engines are also equipped with filter nets inside the equipment, which should be cleaned regularly. The structure and desulfurization process in the biogas desulfurization tower should be designed with the shape size and internal structure according to the gas's actual gas volume and hydrogen sulfide content. Different types of gas, hydrogen sulfide content in different gases, and the desulfurization equipment with different gas pressures designs have different sizes and internal structures. To monitor the sulfide and polysulfide in real-time during the regeneration process The oxygen reaction speed of the material and the oxygen in the air, increase the temperature monitoring equipment, to avoid the occurrence of accidental fire due to the excessive air intake in the regeneration process, the heat release reaction is intense, and the temperature exceeds the combustion point of the desulfurization agent.

Desulfuration by dry process

The standard method in dry desulfurization is the average pressure iron oxide desulfurization method. Under normal temperature and pressure, the biogas passes through the desulfurized bed, where hydrogen sulfide contacts the active iron oxide to generate iron sulfide and ferrous sulfide. Regeneration is then performed, and the desulfurized containing sulfide contacts oxygen in the air, and when water, iron is converted to iron oxide and monomeric sulfur when sulfide is present. This desulfurization regeneration process can be performed many times until most of the gap on the surface of the iron oxide desulfurizer is covered by sulfur or other impurities and becomes inactive. After the desulfurization loses its activity, it needs to be discharged from the tower, spread out in the open space, and then sprayed less on the desulfurized evenly. Quantity of dilute ammonia water, oxygen in the air for natural regeneration.

After the desulfurizer is installed once, it is not required maintenance. When the sulfur content of biogas exceeds the standard, the desulfurized shall be replaced. The replaced desulfurized can be regenerated; the number of regeneration is related to the quality of the desulfurized, generally can be regenerated 2~3 times.

Desulfuration by wet processes

Wet desulfurization has a direct oxidation method, chemical absorption method, and physical absorption method.

The main body of the wet desulfurization tower includes a washing tower, hydrogen sulfide sampling and monitoring system, alkali liquid configuration tank, water supply soft water device, liquid level control system, support parts, and connector. The desulfurization system is fully automatic by monitoring the outgoing hydrogen sulfide concentration and PH. The biogas is passed from bottom to top through the desulfurization tower during operation. The Na2CO3 solution (or NaOH solution) is sprayed down from the top, causing a sufficient chemical reaction of the H2S gas with the alkaloid. The base liquid is stored under the desulfurization tower. The metering pump automatically adds it, and the metering pump addition control is automatically operated by monitoring the gas outlet H2S concentration.
